Doxa Scholarship is rooted in a deeply personal journey.
Its founder, Wilfred, has long carried a heart for mentorship and a burden to create opportunities for underprivileged students. This calling was shaped by his own story, one marked by grace, provision, and the life-changing gift of education. Having once been a recipient of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship himself, Wilfred understands firsthand what access can do.
It opened doors he may never have walked through otherwise, giving him the opportunity to pursue higher education and step into a future that once felt out of reach. That experience did more than change his circumstances, it planted a conviction: no young person should be held back simply because they lack financial means.
From that place, a quiet commitment began. Over the years, Wilfred intentionally supported students in need; offering guidance, encouragement, and practical help wherever he could. What started as personal acts of service grew into a clearer vision: to build something that could reach further, impact more lives, and bring others along on the journey.
