Elaine is a scientist with over 18 years of research experience and a passion for education, mentorship, and empowering the next generation.
What drives me:
Having benefited from scholarships at different stages of her educational journey, she understands firsthand how access to education can transform lives. Inspired by 2 Corinthians 1:4, her commitment to Doxa Scholarships is deeply personal, rooted in gratitude for the opportunities she has received and a desire to extend those same opportunities to others.
My heart for this mission:
“I have received, and now I desire to give back. My prayer is that through Doxa Scholarships, doors of opportunity will open for young people, lives will be transformed, and ultimately, God's glory will be revealed through the lives we touch. This, to me, is the heart of Doxa.”
What drives me:
Having benefited from two scholarships, one for my master's degree and the other for my PhD, I am passionate about giving back by helping create opportunities for others.
My heart for this mission:
I believe many brilliant but underprivileged young people are waiting for someone to recognize and support their potential. I am passionate about helping identify and support these future innovators, leaders, and changemakers.

As a scholarship recipient myself, I understand how important it is to give brilliant students an opportunity to achieve their God-given purpose regardless of their financial background.

I've had experience managing various engagements as part of my work in international development, which I intend to use in my work with Doxa.

My vision is to see this become a major scholarship scheme that helps Christian students not only to further their education, but to grow into well rounded individuals that impact the society they live in and become living examples of God's glory.
Doxa Scholarship is rooted in a deeply personal journey.
Its founder, Wilfred, has long carried a heart for mentorship and a burden to create opportunities for underprivileged students. This calling was shaped by his own story, one marked by grace, provision, and the life-changing gift of education. Having once been a recipient of the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship himself, Wilfred understands firsthand what access can do.
It opened doors he may never have walked through otherwise, giving him the opportunity to pursue higher education and step into a future that once felt out of reach. That experience did more than change his circumstances, it planted a conviction: no young person should be held back simply because they lack financial means.
From that place, a quiet commitment began. Over the years, Wilfred intentionally supported students in need; offering guidance, encouragement, and practical help wherever he could. What started as personal acts of service grew into a clearer vision: to build something that could reach further, impact more lives, and bring others along on the journey. This vision is anchored in the truth of:
Doxa Scholarship was born from this understanding. It is not just a program, it is a platform. A space where individuals with a shared heart for giving, mentorship, and faith can come together to support students and change the trajectory of their lives. At its core, Doxa reflects something even deeper: the glory of God revealed through transformed lives. As students are empowered, as doors are opened, and as lives begin to flourish, we see the fruit of what happens when faith meets action.
Doxa is a response to grace received…. A commitment to pass it on…And a vision to raise leaders who will do the same.
Freely we have received, and through Doxa, freely we give, so that many more lives can be transformed.
